Coetzee, ao rejeitar o culto do relativismo fácil, executa um movimento além do ceticismo das práticas ficcionais marcadamente pós-modernas, e elabora estratégias vislumbrando uma posição diferente, na qual a idéia da verdade é examinada.Referências
