A Coleção Entomológica do Centro de Coleções Taxonômicas (CCT-UFMG) da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais é um significativo repositório de espécimes de insetos, abrigando uma ampla gama de ordens e fornecendo recursos inestimáveis para pesquisas taxonômicas e ecológicas. Com mais de 245 mil exemplares registrados, é o maior acervo do CCT-UFMG. Este artigo apresenta um catálogo dos espécimes-tipo da coleção, excluindo Odonata. O processo de catalogação envolveu o exame de bancos de dados digitais, literatura científica e rótulos de espécimes para identificar e documentar os espécimes-tipo e suas informações associadas. Para cada táxon fornecemos a referência bibliográfica contendo a descrição original, método de preservação, sexo, número de exemplares depositados no CCT-UFMG, distribuição geográfica e notas sobre inconsistências com a literatura. Para holótipos e neótipos, também descrevemos o rótulo dos dados e a condição dos 88 espécimes. Predominam Hymenoptera com 77 holótipos e neótipos (87% do total), dos quais 53 são abelhas. Outras ordens representadas em holótipos incluem Coleoptera (1), Hemiptera (8), Mecoptera (1) e Phasmatodea (1). Os parátipos abrangem 130 espécies em seis ordens: Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Hymenoptera e Phasmatodea, sendo Hymenoptera novamente a ordem dominante, compreendendo 543 parátipos de 112 espécies, incluindo 78 espécies de abelhas (74% do total de parátipos).
