Author Biography

Débora Andrade, University of São João del-Rei (Brasil)

Débora Andrade has a Master in Music, Specialization in Music Education and Bachelor in Conducting from UFMG. She conducted the Children's Choirs at the UFMG's Music Center (1999-2005), Cariúnas Project (2001-2008), Minas Tênis Clube (2005-2009), and Theodor Herzl School's Children's Choir (2011-2013). She was a professor at the Music Degree Course at Centro Universitá rio Metodista Izabela (2009-2013) and, currently, she is a professor at the Music Department of UFSJ (Federal University of São João del Rei), where she coordinates the Benke Extension Project, which aims to expand the children and youth choirs in the Vertentes Region.
