Esse trabalho procurou reconsti- tuir a história do Colégio de Apli- cação da Faculdade de Filosofia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, objetivando, com esse retorno ao passado, buscar, na trajetória histórica do Colégio de Aplicação, elementos esclarecedores que possam contribuir para um reencaminhamento da discussão contemporânea acerca das perspectivas e atuações das escolas de lº e 2º Graus da UFMG.
