Geopolitics of capital's crisis: ten considerations about the coup de Etat and the ultraneoliberal inflexion on the capitalist periphery

Abstract

The present article is an experimentation of approach for the contemporary conjuncture. The authors delineate, from the intrinsic contradiction to accumulation as presented by Marx, his own unfolding is putting in question the mechanisms of intersubjective mediation built for decades on the wire, leading to an internal crisis that, at the same time, becomes a form of governance. To do this, a series of mirrors and smokes are placed to cover the hole of accumulation, appearing the most externalized and fetishized form of capital, the fictitious capital, as the primary actor at this moment that implies a specific form of public management that became known by the nickname of neoliberalism. However, this would have no effect if it were not accompanied by a certain type of agency of the desires of each individual. This double determination, society and individual, gives rise to specific forms of wars: the (not so) secret thrust of the civilization of capital, which helps to be understood since the overseas expansion of the fifteenth century that shaped the geopolitics of the world centuries later in a split between colonies and empires. This is, for the authors, the key to interpreting the blows that affect the world today. When a secular crisis of value appears on the horizon, it is not surprising that the bonds of accumulation tighten even stronger.
