Abstract

This article aims to contrast the idea of reciprocal exchange of cultural goods with the anonymous and free availability of wealth among distributed networks on the Internet. Proposing a new humanmachine hybrid, driven by the non-rival character and the circulation speed of cultural goods, we want to describe the action of anonimozegratuitos. The emergence of a huge volume of copyright battles over music files, video, games etc., by simply locating an emitter pole and another receiver pole, also separating creator and consumer, translates a dispute which encompasses the same onto and epistemological presupposition, the very idea of “individuals exchanging things”. Such a formula has taken place over the reflection of principles, certain modes of being that have lost their effectiveness with new functions and contemporary associations between technique and culture. Taking as reference the operation of BitTorrent software on the Internet, I intend to present, with anonimozegratuitos, new models, both for the usual way attributed to individual authoring production trying to think the sharing of cultural goods in its condition of abundance, not under the limitations of scarcity. Inventing a new social meaning for the circulation of cultural goods, the phenomenon that attracts attention is gaining evidence in the space left by the representation of the self, with an emphasis on ownership and accumulation of recognition.
