In order to present the main academic studies on leisure in parks in the last 13 years, a bibliometric study was conducted using the Elton Bryson Stephens Company - EBSCO database. A longitudinal research on the topic "Leisure in parks" was done, providing details on subjects, journals, and countries. Furthermore, a discussion was undertaken to identify the main related areas, which revealed that studies on leisure in parks primarily focus on urban management, tourism, and leisure. Among the main conclusive findings, one of the emerging themes was the restrictions on tourism and leisure activities in parks.
