A few years ago, I was invited to one of my friends' houses for a celebration of his son's Bar Mitzvah, who was a student at a school in Tel Aviv. A celebration was attended by the celebrant's colleagues, the regent professor of the class and the school principal, as well as family members and other guests. We were sitting around a table set full of food and delicacies, and as usual custom, the traditional speeches began.
