Intrainstitutional relations on the Web: an exploratory study based on webometrics methodologies

Abstract

As an initial approach to a more profound study on the image and impact of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation on the Web, this article investigates the correlations between the sites of this institutions’ units located in Rio de Janeiro. The methodology used was based on co-linking, interlinking and clustering analysis. The data pointed out to the formation of four different groups and one isolated Unit, as well as a low level of integration between the websites studied.
