Abstract

This article addresses the theme of transference and counter-transference in psychiatric nursing. Starting with the literature, it was possible to see two phenomena in Psychoanalysis in the universe of psychiatric nursing care, although they receive other names. This makes it possible for health professionals to reflect on a practice in which the patients’ subjectivity must be considered as extremely important material in the therapeutic relationship.
