Abstract

This study was intended to construct and evaluate an instrument for the supervision of the preparation and administration of medication. Focal groups were used, involving four meetings with the participation of five nurses. We found that supervision is a kind of control when the educational aspect is mentioned, attention is directed at training. Building an instrument of supervision made it possible to reflect on the important aspects in the process, indicating the need to continue to study other dimensions of thinking, feeling and acting relating to minimizing mistakes through effective.
