We describe our experience in systematizing and building a protocol to inform care in the University Hospital of UFJF (Federal University of Juiz de Fora) for patients forwarded by the Single Health System (SUS) with passive-active use of tobacco, who seek nursing consultation for treatment. We present the data collection tool drawn up by Dorothéia Orem, and use Risner's line of thinking to identify the nursing problem (Nursing Diagnosis). We also adopt the NANDA taxonomy in order to standardize nursing diagnosis "search for health behavior", and to present the guidelines to approach the diagnostic "Health Search Behavior" used in order to stop smoking.Downloads
