This is a qualitative study, according to the Modality of the Structure of Situated Phenomenon, seeking to understand students´ views of professional ethics on a technical nursing course. It included ideographic and nomothetic analyses, which led to the conclusion that most of the students believe that professional ethics is limited to following the code of ethics and the law. Because of the importance of professional ethics in the training of nursing technicians, we believe this issue needs to be reformulated giving it a greater scope.Downloads
